Social Action in Community Spaces

Free training brought to you by Young Citizens

You’ve got a group of young people who are passionate about an issue affecting a local community space. They want to make a difference – and you know the potential for learning could be exponential here with the right support. But social action? Community spaces? Where to start?

This short, CPD certified (and free!) online training course will equip you with skills and knowledge about what social action is, and how and why you can support children and young people to improve the spaces in which they live.

Starting a journey of social action at a young age is critical. The

Habits of Service research by the Jubilee Centre for Character and

Virtues demonstrated the value of starting early and exposing young

people to meaningful opportunities to make a positive contribution.
